The cameos of the people in this book reveal some of the greatest heroes of the faith in church history. Some of these names you’ll recognize, others you wil not. But God knows them and their stories will provoke, inspire, and challenge you in your own journey with God. I picked these particular heroes to share with you because they arouse passion in my life for God.
On days where I feel stagnate and spiritually dry, I’ll grab a biography off the shelf in my library and walk with that life again. They prevailed. They persevered. They finished the race God set out for them and overcame every obstacle they faced. Dr. Jay Zinn has been a church-planter and pastor since 1975.
He is the author of a number of books, mostly which teach, train and equip Christians to become strong disciples. He currently resides with his wife in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina.
